Timothy Grant, MD, FAASM
Dr. Timothy Grant, the Medical Director of the Neurology and Sleep Medicine Divisions of Research Centers of America, is a board-certified neurologist and sleep specialist and is recognized as an expert in neurology and sleep medicine. Dr. Grant is also a Certified Physician Investigator for Medical Research and has been the Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator in hundreds of clinical trials throughout his career.
With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Grant frequently lecturers in the field of sleep medicine and related disorders. His research is renowned worldwide for impacting and improving critical diseases and conditions such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Migraine, and sleep disorders including sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, and narcolepsy. His credentials include Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine, and Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Sleep Subspecialty Board.
Dr. Grant is an alumnus of the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the Miami Veterans Administration Hospital. Currently, in addition to his private practice, he also serves as Medical Director at the Baptist Hospital Outpatient Sleep Center and the Medical Director for the Sleep Education Series at Baptist Hospital of Miami.
With Dr. Grant’s background and contributions to medical research and the South Florida community, he brings an incredible depth of knowledge to RCA’s clinical trials. In addition to being an avid swimmer, Dr. Grant relishes spending downtime with his wife enjoying their family of six children and ten grandchildren.
