Research Centers of America’s facility is unique in that our early phase unit, late phase space, and sleep lab are adjacent to each other.
Having all departments housed in the same location, simplifies the process for our subjects. We have also partnered with Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center to conduct inpatient and outpatient psychiatric trials.
By partnering with a leading global clinical trial database registry, Verified Clinical Trials, RCA contributes to the prevention of dual enrollment. This biometric fingerprint technology is utilized in all locations to ensure subject safety and the integrity of the data.
We are excited to announce that we are expanding our facilities. The buildout will include a second Phase I unit, 800 compliant pharmacy, PK lab, as well as Investigator offices and multiple exam rooms. The state-of-the-art early phase unit will add an additional 44 beds and house its own waiting room, check-in station, procedure room, nurses’ station, kitchen, equipment charging room, and entertainment and dining areas.
The Hollywood office is centrally located in Broward County and easily accessible by public transportation. Our full-time physician investigators, raters, and study coordinator offices run alongside dedicated monitoring areas. There is also a CLIA-waived laboratory, drug room, pharmacy, and procedure room on site.
Research Centers of America’s 2,500 sq ft, 20 bed Phase I unit is located less than a mile from Pembroke Memorial Hospital. It consists of a central nursing station, large activity area with entertainment options, dedicated kitchen, and central nursing station. All early phase personnel are BLS and/or ACLS certified and maintain a sage patient-staff ratio.
